How to Stop Feeling Impatient About Manifestation

Today, let’s chat about how to stop feeling impatient about what we want to manifest so that we can more easily and enjoyably create it. 

But first, I need to tell you about the water bed I’ve been sleeping on lately.

Ok, so it’s technically not a “water bed”… it’s a thin mattress cover that has tiny tubes of water inside that Nick recently purchased to help us get better sleep.

This fancy new cover not only has these tiny water tubes but it also has high-tech sensors that monitor things like our body temperature, sleep stages, breathing, and heart rate.

The idea is that the water inside the cover gets automatically heated up or cooled down to help us get better sleep.

It’s really cool, and I’m really enjoying learning more about my personal sleep cycles.

But for my first few nights sleeping on top of this new cover, I had trouble getting the temperature just right.

In the middle of the night, I had to open up the Eight Sleep app on my phone and tell it to manually warm up my mattress because the autopilot mode sensors had decided that my bed should be much colder than I liked.

Then, I’d start feeling anxious.

Thinking about my early wake-up time, I’d start feeling worried about falling back asleep.

I’d toss and turn until my mattress heated up, and my mind calmed down.

Eventually, I got the settings properly adjusted, and now I'm sleeping really well with this new setup.

But those first few nights... let's just say, three days in a row, sleep-deprived Adrianne is not the most enjoyable person to be around! 😜

So why am I telling you about this new piece of bed-tech that thinks I should like a chilly mattress?

Because sleep is a pretty great metaphor for manifesting.

In the same way that I have a pretty hard time sleeping when I’m feeling restless for sleep, manifesting also tends to be tricky when we feel impatient for what we want to just happen already.

Today’s YouTube video is all about this topic of feeling impatience when manifesting.

I’m sharing the underlying belief that can cause impatience as well as four ways to effectively release impatience so that we can more fully enjoy the manifesting journey and more easily bring our desires into reality.

Just like with falling asleep, manifesting can happen naturally and easily when we get ourselves into the right mindset.
