7 Daily Habits for Effortless Manifestation
This past Christmas, I didn’t open any of the holiday cards I received in the mail until December 28.
Not because I’m a grinch… because I felt guilty.
The unopened Christmas cards from family and friends just kept piling up on the shelf. And I just kept procrastinating on any plan to send cards of my own.
But it wasn’t just Christmas card guilt… it was also the dying plants.
Nick and I had been saying for at least the past year that we needed to do something about our snake plants.
They probably need bigger pots? More soil? Better soil?
They weren’t looking good.
It’s kinda embarrassing… but I had to take this one out of the background of my YouTube videos… because it was half dead. 😅
Finally, it dawned on me that these guilty Christmas card and snake plant feelings were just symptoms of the real problem:
I was trying to do too much with action and forgetting to leverage the Universe.
Abraham’s Placemat Process immediately came to mind.
So I made a new “to do” list for myself containing only the things that I definitely wanted and needed to do immediately. And I put everything else, Christmas cards and snake plants included, on another list titled, “Things to Do - Universe.”
Just like that, the guilt was replaced with a feeling of relief. 😌✨
Then, at Christmas, Nick gets inspired by the photo card his sister, Pam, created.
And so, there we are on December 28, finally opening the stack of Christmas cards, because we’ve just easily created this “Happy New Year” card reply. And, for just a few extra dollars, Shutterfly even does the work of mailing them out for us. So awesome 😄
Then, a couple of days later, we’re getting ready to go out for lunch and I see Nick loading the snake plants into the car.
“Wow, he’s acting as the Universe again!” I think to myself.
A few hours later, we returned home with healthy snake plants.
The super-friendly guy at the local plant store spent an hour with us pruning, transplanting, and repotting our poor snake plants, plus educating us on how to better maintain them.
But why am I sharing this with you today?
Because it only took a minute to move my overwhelming “to do” list items off of my list and onto the Universe’s.
It’s helpful to remember that little shifts like this that we make to how we’re thinking about things can make a really big difference in how those things manifest in our lives.
Today’s YouTube video is all about these kinds of small changes that we can make to our thinking that make manifesting what we want more effortless and fun.
And, most of the 7 daily habits I cover in the video don’t add any extra time to the day… thus making it probably easier and more doable than you think to create (or update) your own Magical Manifesting Routine. ✨
