The Manifesting Jackpot
Six years ago, Nick and I decided to try to win front row tickets to see the musical, The Book of Mormon.
Joined by 50 or so of our fellow Portlanders, we leaned against the giant concrete columns near the front doors of Keller Auditorium, to hear if our names would be called as that day's winners.
While waiting for the "ticket lottery" results, Nick and I visualized ourselves winning. We imagined the delight of getting to enjoy those coveted front row seats.
But, despite doing our best to engage our manifesting muscles, for four days in a row, we did not win the random drawing.
On the 5th day, however, my name was called. Hooray! A pair of front row tickets!
Then, the next daily winner was announced, annnnnd ... it was Nick! Wow, 2 MORE tickets?!
After four days in a row of manifesting zero tickets, now, we suddenly had twice as many tickets as required for the show.
It was like hitting the manifesting jackpot. 😊
While we ended up giving away our extra tickets, it was a treat in itself for us to both get to be the ticket lottery winners of the day.
It's an interesting thing about manifesting.
For a while, it can seem like not much at all is happening. It can seem like what you're doing isn't working.
And then...
BAM! Manifesting jackpot.
What seemed like just a wish, a dream, a hope, a desire, at one moment... in the very next moment, has become your new reality.
That's the power of being a deliberate creator, consciously turning thoughts into things.
And, it can also be the tricky part...
Holding the vision on the inside, despite how things look on the outside.
Keeping in mind how quickly reality can flip. And, keeping the faith.
Don't stop believing,
