The Wisdom to Procrastinate

Procrastination isn’t typically seen as a virtue…

But sometimes, it’s the best manifesting move we can make!

The urge to “put it off” can be true wisdom in disguise.

It can be our intuition letting us know that the energy’s not lined up. And, taking action under these energetic conditions isn’t likely to be as enjoyable or effective as it could be.

So, instead of feeling guilty about the desire to delay, conscious creators procrastinate with pride.

That’s because they understand the power of inspired action.

Inspiration to act comes from the superconscious, wisest part of us who always sees us within a larger context.

Our intuitive, higher mind knows what’s most optimal for us to do at any given time, given all of the factors involved. And, it readily provides guidance about this through our feelings.

What doesn’t sound good to you isn’t the right thing to do.

Intuition knows when it’s wiser for us to take a break instead of push through the to do list.

“Chilling out” and “goofing off” is a state of being that can be much more receptive to insight and clarity than a nose-to-the-grindstone, ”make it happen” mentality.

When relaxed and open, our minds more easily receive brilliant answers to our questions, perfect solutions to pressing problems and stellar insights into our current situation.

Intuition also knows all about good timing.

Sometimes, we’re inspired to procrastinate not because we’re not lined up but because something else about what we’re manifesting isn’t lined up.

If we know to trust our feelings then we’ll be inspired to take the right action at the right time in the right place for maximum effectiveness and fun.

If we’re not feeling inspired, then we can trust that the timing just isn’t quite right yet.

And so, conscious creators more often ask themselves questions like ...

“What sounds good right now?”

“What do I feel inspired to do?”

They trust heart over mind and inspiration over “should.”

And, as a result, they find themselves more often in the flow, leveraging superconscious guidance towards manifesting not only positive outcomes down the road but a satisfying, good-feeling journey along the way.

Here’s to giving ourselves permission to just release any “should” that doesn’t sound good.

Love and Magic,

Adrianne
