Never Make Yourself Wrong
One of the worst things we can do for our manifesting mojo is to think against ourselves.
Self-criticism and negative self-judgment not only feel terrible...
They seriously put a kink in our vibe! And, the Law of Attraction responds to this misaligned energy by serving up more reasons to criticize and judge.
Ouch!
Not fun. 😢
As a recovering perfectionist, it took me a while to learn to be truly nice to myself.
It took time and practice to pay less attention to “flaws” and instead emphasize what I feel proud of and good about.
For a while now, I’ve made it my goal to see myself the way that Source sees me.
I reach for the thoughts about myself that feel the best, most loving and most empowering, no matter what.
A big part of my self-love energy alignment practice could be summed up with the following rule:
Never make yourself wrong.
There’s such a lightness of being and a freedom of spirit that comes from knowing that whatever I think, feel or do… it’s all okay!
It really helps to calm down my inner perfectionist to know that I simply can’t get it wrong.
Holding this belief helps me stay in alignment and feel good about myself no matter what.
How did I make the shift from “never good enough” to “always a-okay?”
Here are the top three perspectives that helped:
Perspective #1: You’re always doing the best you can, given your vibration at the time.
What we think and do at any moment is based on our vibration, aka, our state of being.
Remembering this helps me cut myself some generous slack!
For example, if I haven’t eaten in a long time and begin to feel a little cranky, I don’t expect to show up as my most resourceful and capable self.
Making it okay to be wherever I’m at, even if it’s not a “good” place, always helps that energy dissipate more quickly.
It helps me to more easily slip back into feeling better and showing up as the me that I most like to be.
Perspective #2: Nothing is ever “done” so it’s impossible to truly mess it up.
As long as time keeps moving along, everything will continue to be in an ongoing state of change and becoming. Therefore, nothing could ever truly be considered done.
That includes me and you. We’re continually evolving too.
Even if today we feel like we’re not doing something “right” or “good enough”...
… it’s okay because we’re simply not done yet!
This perspective really helps me make peace with things as they are right now.
Just because it looks bad today doesn’t mean tomorrow it can’t begin to look fantastic.
From this viewpoint, passing judgment simply stops making any sense.
You can’t judge something as completely right or wrong, good or bad, if it’s not done yet, right?
Perspective #3: So called bad stuff creates more good stuff down the road.
Even when so called bad stuff happens, it ends up creating good stuff in the future that would not be as good otherwise.
Making mistakes or experiencing failures always brings greater clarity and teaches valuable lessons.
This puts us in an even stronger position than we’d otherwise be to create even better down the road.
Plus, according to Abraham, when we experience this type of “contrast,” or unwanted experience, it causes us to ask more powerfully for what we do want instead.
And, when Source Energy answers these stronger-than-ever requests, we can end up manifesting better outcomes than if we’d not been led to ask as strongly and powerfully.
Always A-Okay
